Join Amber & Tom for a look at the organisms affecting the health of our enironment! Amber is a Coastal Outreach Specialist & Penn State Extension Master Watershed Steward Coordinator with PA SEA Grant. Tom, also with PA SEA Grant, is a Coastal Outreach Specialist.

In a quiet meadow within LEAF is a beautiful labyrinth constructed of custom cast white concrete pavers and soft green grass. Join the Carrie T Watson Garden Club, the oldest garden club in Erie and the group who gifted the Labyrinth to LEAF, in a therapeutic evening of labyrinth-walking and nature-reverence!

Connie Walker, founder of Black and Green, is a local mushroom "guru" and educator. Join Connie & LEAF in a collaborative demonstration on mushroom planting right here in the park! For a small fee, take home your own mushroom inoculation kit so we can grow together! 🍄

The cost of this workshop (includes take-home mushroom kit) is $10.

Get excited to make art using something all around us - LEAVES! Join in a beautiful, self-paced reflection of nature through the eyes of Dr. Will Meyers & Brice Hansen. We will be using paint, paintbrushes, and a sense of creativity - so, wear something you can get messy!
